TV3 HD THAILAND
TV3 HD Thailand, also called Channel 3 or Channel 3 HD, is a popular network in Thailand that is available for free. It started broadcasting on March 26, 1970, as Thailand's first commercial TV station. It is based in Bangkok's Maleenond Towers.
Prime Minister Field Marshal Thanom Kittikachorn gave the network its official start. At first, it only broadcast in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area. But as time went on, the network grew and became available everywhere in the country.
Infonet, TV3 HD Thailand's first teletext service, was launched in 1985. Two years later, in 1987, the network started broadcasting in stereo, and in the 1990s, stereo was added to its free-to-air VHF station across the country. In the 1990s, TV3 also tried out sending shows in two languages by adding a second audio track.
